The only thing I would recommend would be to definitely take cash with you because card transactions in the villages is basically non existent.”

There were another couple in the back of the jeep with us and we all got along, Bruno helped to make everyone feel welcome - he was an excellent guide. The sites were amazing and the food was delicious. It got a bit cold and foggy towards the end and Bruno supplied us with blankets. This is a great way to see Sintra and the surrounding sites!”

Lunch was tasty and the small villages we visited were authentic and unspoiled by the mass tourism of Albufeira. There certainly was a different pace of life in the hills. “Absolutely amazing day out with Walter and the rest of the groups! Was wonderful learning so much about the Algarve and the culture. Our 2 teenagers loved it and the icing on the cake was stopping to see the race track which they enjoyed very much! Walter kept us engaged the whole time and even stopped the jeep on occasions to take in the aroma of spring flowers and fruits! Wonderful meal at lunch (peri peri chicken) with a good amount of wine! Topped off with a trip to the distillery for some firewater...yes we bought some to take back! Thank you all for a great experience and wonderful memories”

“I was solo travelling and was a little worried when I saw I was with other couples, but the guide was great at including us all! We went to see some incredible places, and despite getting sunburn (my fault), it was great fun and I would highly recommend it.
